Frisco Square partners with ProjectWarm.Us to help homeless

Frisco Square Development recently announced a new community support initiative to help the homeless. Frisco Square is partnering with Project Warm.us by hosting a collection box at the management office located at 8874 Coleman Blvd now until Wednesday, Nov. 23.

The goal for this charitable drive is 5,723 coats and blankets for the homeless in Dallas by Thanksgiving 2011.  Two established organizations are selected to receive collected donations. Our Calling, a Dallas-based group, which primarily helps homeless men and women, and The Samaritan Inn, a Collin County organization helping adults and children will receive the coats and blankets. Both groups plan to distribute coats and blankets during their annual Thanksgiving lunch and dinner for the homeless.

“These two groups are more than just a place to spend the night or get a meal; they help teach self-sufficiency and life skills that address the needs of individuals and families before, during, and after a homeless situation,” said Jodi and Lin who are the two women working together to make a difference in our community. “Frisco Square is proud to participate in every way possible to support our community,” said Lara Hansen Frisco Square’s Social Media and Marketing Coordinator.  Please help by donating new or gently used coats and blankets.
