(Dallas) Nov. 9, 2011 Staib Wealth Management, located at 17304 Preston Road, Suite 800, Dallas, TX 75252, was recently invited to participate in the True Blue Business Recognition Series, a program that publicly recognizes exceptional companies and business owners in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that are “doing business right.”

Scott Sams, morning show host at KRLD NewsRadio 1080 and former news anchor at CBS 11 and WFAA-TV Channel 8, interviewed Christi Staib, LPL Financial Advisor and president of Staib Wealth Management, to gain insight into the practices and core beliefs that make the financial consulting and investment firm a True Blue Business. A portion of the interview will air on KRLD. The full conversation and video will be featured at BlueRibbonNews.com, DFW’s online community news source that highlights good news and events from area neighborhoods, churches, schools, businesses, clubs and organizations.

In addition, Staib Wealth Management will be profiled in print in the True Blue Business special supplement to The Wall Street Journal.

Companies identified as True Blue Businesses deliver quality goods and services while demonstrating a strong commitment to their customers, employees, and the community. They act with honesty and integrity, are “true blue” and loyal to the people they serve, and often go the extra mile. In short, they are the companies that Dallas-Fort Worth can count on.

True Blue Businesses are approved based on information obtained through comprehensive interviews and research. The evaluation process involves input from principles, officers, management, employees, and customers to determine a company’s ability to consistently demonstrate the following:

  • honesty and integrity in day-to-day dealings with customers, in the management of employees, in interactions with the community;
  • responsiveness in resolving customer complaints, handling employee matters, and adapting to changing market conditions;
  • and goodwill toward customers, employees, and the community.

“It’s an honor to receive True Blue recognition,” said Staib.  She was also named a Five Star Wealth Manager in 2009, 2010 and 2011. “It is especially rewarding to be recognized within the DFW community for being ‘True Blue’ to the clients we serve,” she said.

Staib added that there’s no recognition quite as gratifying as receiving thank you letters and calls from grateful clients – many of whom are widows and widowers.

“As a widow myself, I experienced firsthand the challenges of suddenly having to adjust to a new financial situation. I decided to go full-time with my own financial management firm after I saw how my knowledge was helping other widows and widowers through their own predicaments,” Staib said.

Through LPL Financial, Christi Staib at Staib Wealth Management helps with estate planning, college planning, and portfolio management like stocks, bonds, life insurance – while focusing on being as tax efficient as possible.

“Our goal is to work toward building and protecting every client’s financial position, to help simplify their lives and be accountable for our work. We use all the tools available to guide our clients in acquiring, preserving and transferring wealth according to their wishes,” Staib said.

Staib also believes in giving back to the community through educational seminars and the support of charitable organizations, including Heifer International, Galapagos Conservancy, Susan G. Komen, Red River Community House, Prince of Peace Community Church, and Attitudes and Attire.
