‘WinterBlast’ brings ice, chance of snow to McKinney

Free skating event at Dr Pepper StarCenter McKinney

Winter Blast McKinney Dr Pepper StarCenterThe McKinney Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department is partnering with the Dr Pepper StarCenter McKinney at Craig Ranch for a second year to present WinterBlast. The free event promotes the start of a healthy year for all McKinney residents.

WinterBlast will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Dr Pepper StarCenter McKinney. Families are invited to come out and ice skate from noon to 2 p.m., visit vendor booths and enjoy many of the other exciting recreation activities offered throughout the event. Watch ice skating exhibitions, have fun playing games on the ice, build a snowman, or enjoy arts and crafts. Vendors will provide educational and safety awareness information.

This event is free to the public and open to all ages.
