Reduced adoption fees during Empty the Shelter Day, Feb. 18

(Rowlett) The City of Rowlett Animal Shelter and Friends of Rowlett Animals would like to invite you to make a difference in the lives of homeless pets.

In their efforts to reduce the homeless pet population, they are hosting an “Empty the Shelter” Adoptathon from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Rowlett Animal Shelter, 4402 Industrial St., Rowlett, TX. 75088.

This domestic short hair/Calico mix called 'Momma' is an owner surrender. She recently had a litter of kittens. They were able to place all the kittens but couldn't find a home for Momma.

Most of the cats have already been spayed or neutered, and their adoption fee is only $25 – or just $5 for seniors.

FRAs and local businesses are sponsoring pets to make all other adoption fees just $50 for the day!
