Free Garden Secrets class focuses on bees

Keep Lewisville Beautiful will hold a free Garden Secrets class from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at the Lewisville Public Library’s Crawford Room.

This informative class on bees is the perfect class for those interested in general knowledge about honey bees, why beekeeping is important, plants that bees love, how to start keeping bees and some of the different products that can be used from the beehive. The key speaker for the class, Shelby Killpatrick, is an active Denton County 4-H member and a master gardener intern.
