Rockwall County Rockin’ Riders 4-H Horse Club

The Rockin’ Riders Horse Club is designed for kids in 3rd through 12th grade with an interest in horses and horse events. The program provides experiences to help members develop leadership, citizenship, self-esteem and social skills as well as becoming better horsemen and horsewomen.

The Rockin Riders 4-H Horse Project includes programs for kids who own or have access to horses and those who do not but still want to learn about the science of equine care and management.

Activities include everything from educational and fun club meetings, to trail rides, workshops and clinics, horse shows and service projects.

Members hold club offices, give public speeches and demonstrations, do special projects and spend time with their favorite friends, both human and equine.

Meetings are held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday of every month at The Fatted Calf Restaurant, located at 112 E. Rusk Street in Rockwall (on the downtown square across from the historic Courthouse).
