August 29, 2012 – Wags & Waves, the ultimate pool party for people and their pets, takes place Saturday, September 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at NRH20 Family Water Park, 9001 Boulevard 26, in North Richland Hills.
At the day-long event, presented by the Metroplex Animal Coalition (MAC), pet owners can say so long to summer as they float in the Endless River and catch some waves in the NRH20cean with their canine companions by their side.
In addition to the various pools and water attractions, other activities at Wags & Waves include pet costume and trick contests, agility and retrieving demonstrations, live music by The Big Guns, vendors, food for purchase and more. NRH20 offers separate activity pool areas for large and small breed dogs plus numerous slides for pets and people of all ages and sizes.
Admission to Wags & Waves is $20 per person online or at the door, and includes up to two dogs admitted free. Reserved seating areas for up to 25 people are also available for an additional $75. There is no charge for children under 2 years of age. Those who register early online will receive a free event T-shirt, and the first 500 attendees will receive a complimentary goody bag. All dogs must be spayed or neutered and show proof of complete, up-to-date vaccinations and current rabies shots.
