In the words of Christian’s family:

Christian Corneau was a loving, energetic young man who lived his life to its fullest.  In the short 14 years he lived, Christian touched the lives of everyone he met.  He was an amazing guitarist and trumpet player who enjoyed running, photography, skateboarding, snowboarding and building with Legos.  Beyond his adventurous soul was an intellectually gifted young man who enjoyed reading any type of book.

During his freshman year in high school, Christian was voted “most unique.” His sense of style and fashion was definitely unique, as well as his love of music.  He was a very sensitive, caring person who was always looking out for students who seemed sad or left out.  He is probably most remembered by his friends and family for his awesome hugs. He had a way of holding on to you and not letting go that made you feel the sincerity of his embrace.

Christian is one of those special human beings you are grateful to have had the chance to meet. The following quote by Maya Angelou reflects the influence Christian’s life continues to have on all of us:

A great soul serves everyone all the time.

A great soul never dies.

It brings us together again and again.
