Numerous donation sites available for largest coat drive in Rockwall County

(November 15, 2012) As the autumn leaves are raked into neat little piles for the year, the cold winter months are quickly approaching. There are many people who could really use a new or gently used coat, sweater, scarf or a pair of gloves to keep warm.

That is why Autumn Leaves Alzheimer’s and Memory Care communities have created Project Warmth, an initiative to collect wearable winter items for donation to local charities from each of our communities.

At Autumn Leaves of Rockwall, the community has teamed up with the Rockwall Rotary Club and other local businesses to accomplish the biggest coat drive Rockwall County has ever held. There are numerous donation sites available for residents to conveniently drop off their items.

For more information about donation sites and how you can help,  contact the Autumn Leaves of Rockwall Community Relations Director  Gina Lozano at 469-402-1883 or email .  You can also contact Stephen Straughan,  Rockwall Rotary Club at 214-676-9635 or email  .
