Habitat for Humanity dedicates Rockwall home
(Rockwall) November 5, 2o12 –The Rockwall Chapter of Habitat for Humanity dedicated their latest house at 304 Ross St. on Saturday, October 27.Saturday afternoon a large group of volunteers, board members and family members gathered as the president of Habitat, John Cote, led the dedication for the newest family, Jeffery and Meliza Davidson. The Davidsons moved in this month with their children, including a new baby boy born in August.

During the dedication, Mary McClure, a former board member expressed sincere thanks to an anonymous donor that has donated significantly in the past as well as $25,000 specifically for this house. Mayor, David Sweet, presented to the family a flag flown over the capital on behalf of Congressman Ralph Hall.

Habitat will begin their next house on the lot next door in the coming weeks. Volunteers to aid in construction, provide breakfast, lunch or water are always needed. Visit rockwallhabitat.org for more information.
