(ROCKWALL ISD-Feburary 18, 2013) The Jones Elementary School PTA will host its second annual St. Patrick’s Jag Jog beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 2.
The 5K Race/1 Mile Fun Run is a fundraising event that also features a carnival, petting zoo, hamster balls, obstacle courses, bounce house, DJ, cake walk, silent auction and raffle. If that’s not enough, there will also be vendor booths and a chili cook-off!
The race will begin with a “gun” start and chip-timed finish. All finishers will receive a participant award, and medals will be awarded to the 1st and second place winners of the 5K in the following categories:
- 5 – 6 year olds
- 7 – 8 year olds
- 9 -10 year olds
- 11 – 12 year olds
- 13 -15 year olds
- 16 -19 year olds
- 20 -29 year olds
- 30-39 year olds
- 40-49 year olds
- 50 -59 year olds
- 60 and older
