ROWLETT, TX (April 18, 2014) The Rowlett Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed new member Dallas International Stars FC with a ribbon cutting. Pictured cutting the ribbon is President/Coaching Director Rey Lopez.
Dallas International Stars FC was created in 2006 when their mother soccer program HCRS STARS began travelling internationally and creating high-level training programs for exchange students and players. President and Coach Director, Reynaldo Lopez’s philosophy is to provide role model coaches for youth, children and young adults using soccer as a tool for education and to also achieve the top level of their game. Top college level, local, national and international competition are all a plus on the DI Stars FC programs. Their programs include Level I: 4-10 Academy; Level II: 11-17 Youth; Level III: 17-24 Open Division (Boys and Girls.)
This program is the base for the development of life skills through Soccer, providing high level training to players which they would not receive in other programs. The program also provides financial aid to players that qualify.
THE 2014 NATIONAL PRESIDENT CUP CHAMPIONSHIP GIVES THE CLUB THE AUTHORITY TO REPRESENT ROWLETT/NORTH TEXAS IN THE HIGHEST NATIONAL SOCCER YOUTH COMPETITION (REGIONALS IN ALABAMA AND SOUTH CAROLINA-THE FINALS) WE ARE SO PROUD AS A CLUB AND THE EXTRAORDINARY EFFORTS OF THE PLAYERS, COACHES, MANAGERS, PARENTS, FANS AND ALL THE DI STARS FC FAMILIES. WE NEED THE COMMUNITY AND LOCAL BUSINESS TO SUPPORT THE CLUB AND ASSIST IN CONTINUING OUR EFFORTS WITH THE YOUTH!
