Lake Pointe Medical Center to host free Peripheral and Coronary Artery Disease seminar

ROCKWALL, TX. (July 31, 2014) Lake Pointe Medical Center (LPMC) is hosting an educational seminar on peripheral artery disease (PAD) and coronary artery disease from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 2.

LPMC medical staff members Dr. Anthony Yoon and Dr. Franklin Yau will provide interactive presentations on this important health care topic and a complimentary continental breakfast will be served. Blood pressure and ankle-brachial index (ABI) screenings, which are used to predict the risk of PAD in certain patients, will also be available free of charge.

This event is part of the hospital’s 2014 Community Seminar Series, designed to keep the community educated and informed on current medical topics.
