Rockwall, TX (September 29, 2014) In an ongoing effort to enhance state roadways and address congestion, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) approved a contract award for the reconstruction of the interchange at FM 3549 (Stodghill Road) and I-30 in Rockwall.
The contract for $30 million was awarded to Tradeco Infraestructura, Inc.
“Like all of Texas, the urban areas of our state will continue to see rapid population growth,” said Commissioner Victor Vandergriff. “Relieving congestion on our roadways not only improves our quality of life, but also enhances economic opportunities. We are pleased to partner with state and local entities who share our vision of keeping Texas moving.”
Construction start dates will be established in upcoming meetings between TxDOT and the contractors.
