Meals on Wheels to host Caregiver Conference Friday

ROCKWALL, TX October 6, 2014) Meals on Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall will host its 4^th Annual Caregiver Conference with multiple guest speakers at the Rockwall County Library,1215 E. Yellowjacket Lane.

Exhibits and registration open at 8:30 a.m. The conference runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Breakfast/lunch sponsored by MOWSS.

The conference will provide resources and education for older adults, family members, friends and others who help them. Guest speakers include Andy B. Crocker, M.S. Extension Program Specialist Gerontology and Health, Texas AgriLife Extension; Doni Green, North Texas Area on Aging; Jenni Barnes Smith, Elder Law Attorney and Counselor; Alzheimer’s Association presentation; May Jane Douglas, Benefits Counselor, North Texas Area Agency on Aging; Neal A. Lang, Estate Preservation Specialist.
