Rockwall culinary arts students on Fox 4’s ‘Good Day’

ROCKWALL ISD, TX (Jan. 6, 2015) Chef Cody Hayes’ Culinary students from Rockwall High School presented three kids’ meal creations to the Executive Chef from the Cotton Patch restaurant back in November. The Executive Chef and others from the Cotton Patch selected one meal out of three to go on their kids’ menu. The meal is called the Gobble Gobble Turkey Slider. It was demoed today, by Brie Griffith and Marissa Bailey from Rockwall High School, on the Fox 4 program “Good Day.”

The other two meals were also presented and discussed by Marcus Moehler. There were a total of six Rockwall High School students who all worked together to create the meals in the kitchen and all six were featured on “Good Day.” The students are Kathryn Osteen, Brienna Griffith, Marissa Bailey, Marcus Moehler, Dulce Huesca, and Alyssa Brown.

Not only are these students getting great industry experience, but they are also making a huge impact towards the health of kids in Rockwall. Congratulations to these six Rockwall High School students!
