City of Rockwall proposes land acquisition, improvements for new park

(ROCKWALL, TX – March 30, 2015) The City of Rockwall is proposing land acquisition and improvements for a new park. Some of the park land will be located within the 100 year flood plain within the Breezy Hill subdivision. No construction is proposed within the 100 year flood plain. The property to be acquired within the flood plain is planned to be preserved as natural open space. The preliminary plan is available for public review and comment at the Parks & Recreation Department, 108 E. Washington, Rockwall, TX 75087.
