ROCKWALL, TX (March 2, 2015) The Rock Wall Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution held its Annual Awards Presentation Tea Sunday, March 1, in the home of member Carolyn Duckworth of Heath.
Regent Mindy Lovell welcomed guests and recipients to the annual tea. Corresponding Secretary Julia McCormack introduced the recipients and their guests. Chaplain Faye Heil delivered the Invocation.
The American History Essay recipients were middle school students Abigail Mayfield of Heritage Christian Academy, and Lydia Knight of Faith Academy Rockwall.
DAR Good Citizen Committee Chair, Margaret Davidson, presented six senior high school recipients for the award. Senior Courtney R. Hill, North Forney High School, will represent Rock Wall DAR as the State Level Representative.

Rock Wall Chapter meetings are held on the first Saturday of the month unless otherwise indicated. Time and location are designated. Guests are welcome! The Rock Wall Chapter will meet again at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church of Heath.
