Heath Showcase displays students’ talent, features surprise Hawk Pride video

(ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX – April 6, 2015) The Heath Student Council presented the Heath Showcase to the student body on April 2.  Rockwall-Heath High School students displayed amazing talent in music, song and dance – and they also surprised Principal Dr. Tom Maglisceau with a Hawk Pride video that was directed, filmed and edited by Marlow Amick, and produced by Leah Voth. (Special thanks to Kobalt for copyright permission of the Taylor Swift song.)

The Heath Jazz band welcomed the students to the Performing Arts Center where the showcase was held.  Overlapse Dance Crew opened the show with excitement.  Overlapse Dance Crew includes Jacob Hranicky, Quinten Loya, Jonny Nhem, Kennedy Nhem, Jeremie Ntibagaye, Lowe Sumpon, Michael Wilson, Brandon Yang, Jordan Erebia, Suriya Chanthavisay.

Next up were soloists Michelle Chase, Nick Moore and the singing group, Infiniti, with an amazing performance of “Bottom of the River.”  Students showcased talent in original works by Christian Giadolor, Olivia Roland and Nick Loya.  There was a beautiful ballet performance by Victoria Steele.  The Highsteppers gave a smashing performance to finish the live acts.
