National Library Week special events planned

(ROCKWALL, TX – April 7, 2015) In observance of National Library Week April 12-18, the Rockwall County Library has scheduled the following special activities:

  • Tuesday, April 14th at 7:00 p.m., Family Night with storyteller Esther Malone
  • Saturday, April 18, 11:00 a.m., Books and Ballet, where the Caldecott award winner, the Girl Who Loved Wild Horses, will be told through words and ballet.
  • Thursday, April 16th a come-and-go reception for library volunteers prepared by the library staff.

Special bookmarks and pencils promoting libraries will be given out during the week.

On Tuesday, April 14, Rockwall County Judge David Sweet and the Commissioners Court will present a Proclamation marking National Library Week in Rockwall County.
