Centennial Medical Center Nursing Manager Inducted into the Tenet Heroes Hall of Fame

Jenny Murray recognized for innovation, outstanding patient care

(FRISCO, TX – May 12, 2015) Centennial Medical Center announced today that Jenny Murray, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) nursing manager, has been inducted into the Tenet Heroes Hall of Fame, Tenet Healthcare Corporation’s highest honor for employees, at a ceremony in Phoenix, Arizona, on April 11.

Murray’s work in the neonatal intensive care unit brings her in contact with families who have cause for joy, as they watch their baby grow and thrive. She brings an extraordinary capacity for empathy and compassion to her work. Murray also contributes her time and talents to our annual NICU reunion that allows staff, families and friends to celebrate the lives of babies that have received care in the NICU at Centennial Medical Center. She often keeps in touch with these families long after they have graduated from the NICU.

“Our Tenet Hero inductees represent the best of who we are at Tenet and what we do as healthcare providers in the communities we serve,” said Trevor Fetter, Tenet’s president and chief executive officer. “Jenny’s dedication to exceptional patient care and innovation serve as an inspiration to each of us.”

Murray was one of seven individuals who were inducted into the Tenet Heroes Hall of Fame. This year’s recipients were chosen from more than 130 submissions. Tenet Heroes are nominated by their hospital’s leadership team and selected based on their dedication to their patients, colleagues and communities. The Tenet Heroes Hall of Fame recognizes exceptional employees who demonstrate Tenet’s values of quality, integrity, service, innovation and transparency.
