Master Gardener Classes offered in Rockwall

ROCKWALL,TX. (June 12, 2015) Do you have a love of gardening?  Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge with others?  Consider becoming a Master Gardener!

The Rockwall County Master Gardener Association is a volunteer organization that is an integral part of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.  Master Gardeners are trained to provide information and technical assistance in the areas of gardening and home horticulture within our community and county.

Class begins August 26 and meets Wednesdays until November 18, 2015 from 9 am-4pm.  Class locations will vary.  This is a program of intensive study of the broad spectrum of horticulture utilizing researched based information.

Anyone interested in this training may obtain an application by calling the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office at 972-204-7660 or visiting rockmga.org.

Completed applications are due by June 26.  Cost is $200 and is due upon acceptance.  An informational meeting for all applicants will be held July 13 at 6:30 pm at the Extension Office located at 915 Whitmore Ste. B,Rockwall,TX75087.
