ROCKWALL,TX. (June 30, 2015) On June 26th, the Wind Ensemble from Rockwall-Heath High School advanced to state in the TMEA Honor Band Contest. The listening was held at Keller Central High School. The process included a blind listening of the live unedited recordings by the winning bands from Regions 3, 4, 21, and 25. Through this process the RHHS Wind Ensemble was chosen to advance to the state contest which will be held in San Antonio at the Texas Bandmasters Association Conference on July 23rd. The band selected as the TMEA 5A Honor Band will perform a concert at the Texas Music Educators Association Conference in San Antonio in February 2016.
