ROCKWALL, TX. (July 6, 2015) Friends of the Rockwall County Library, a non-profit organization, is busy preparing for another great year. Membership dues are a large part of its fundraising efforts. If you have not renewed your membership or would like to join FOL, you may pick up a brochure at the front desk or in the lobby of the Rockwall County Library, fill it out and submit a check, or go to www.friendsrockwall.com and click on Membership, complete a form online and use a credit card for payment.
The first General Meeting followed by lunch is on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, 11:00 a.m. in the Community room, first floor of the Rockwall County Library, 1215 E. Yellowjacket Ln., Rockwall, TX. The program will be: “The Astaires, Fred & Adele” featuring Kathleen Cunningham, speaker, reviewer, and professional dancer. An optional lunch may be ordered with a reservation made 7 days in advance. Deadline is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, prior to the luncheon. Call Leigh Plagens, 972-771-8976 or email cplagens65@aol.com.
