After-school art classes offered through RISD ROCK program
(ROCKWALL, TX – August 7, 2015) Shay Cronin, owner of Art’s A Blast, announces its association with Rockwall ISD’s Rock Program. In the coming school year, Art’s A Blast On Campus (“AABOC”) will handle the after-school art programs for each of the 13 elementary schools in the RISD. Parents will have the option to enroll their children in a one-hour-per-week after-school art program.
Experienced art teachers will teach the fundamentals of art while sneaking in art history and the art elements and design principles. The kids will learn art through painting, mixed media, drawing and 3-D pieces. They will learn the same fundamentals currently being taught at the Art’s A Blast Studio during Summer Camps, as well as after-school and home-school classes.
Parents can enroll their child on a monthly basis, by the semester, or yearly by going to artsablast.com and then to the On Campus section. If the AABOC time doesn’t work for your child, the same curriculum is offered at the Art’s A Blast Studio which is also posted on the website.
Art’s A Blast’s main studio is located at 2845 Ridge Road in Rockwall, across from Chick-fil-A next to Willis Jewelers. The studio is a great venue for all kinds of paint parties.
- For Kids – Summer Camps, Early Release Events, Home-School Classes, After-School Classes and Birthday Parties.
- For Adults – Private Parties, Birthday Parties, Team Building, Family Reunions, Bachelorette Parties and any kind of get-together.
- For Families – Family Nights on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Also, Paint Your Pet Night every other month.
