(ROCKWALL, TX – Feb. 11, 2016) The Executive Women’s Alliance, a committee of the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce, hosted its first educational luncheon of 2016 yesterday.  An expert panel discussed the topic “How Strong is your Tightrope,” sharing professional experiences and tips on work and life balance.  The panel consisted of Dr. Jenna Webster-Zellars, owner of Ideal Balance, Enid Reyes owner of Life Compass, and Monica Jaynes, co-owner of Living Springs Natural Health.  The discussion was led by Heather Nichols, owner of The Biz Fizz marketing firm.  Heather currently serves on the steering committee for the EWA.

The event sold out and was attended by over 50 professional women of Rockwall.  Honda Cars of Rockwall sponsored the event in their world class training room, catering by Arboleda’s Mexican Grill and audio provided by Musichead DJ’s.  Each of these Chamber partners exemplify the meaning of partnership and community.

Future educational events are planned for each quarter of 2016 and will continue as panel and attendee roundtable discussions.  The second quarter will focus on finance and again provide women a panel of experts in the field.

The Executive Women’s Alliance offers leadership and mentoring to Chamber partners and is committed to strengthening women as professionals and civic leaders.

The EWA will continue to empower and unite women through business and community events.  Membership is open to women business owners or women in an executive level with their organization.
