Rockwall Executive Women’s Alliance to host ‘Journey to Leadership’ Luncheon

(ROCKWALL, TX – July 13, 2016) The Rockwall Executive Women’s Alliance, a Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce initiative in which business owners and women in executive level positions offer leadership and mentoring to Chamber partners, will host a ‘Journey to Leadership’ Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 10 at Honda Cars of Rockwall, 1550 E. I-30.

EWA members, as well as members of the public, are welcome to attend and engage in the discussion led by four local expert panelists: Cindy Paris, President of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Rockwall; Alma Williams Howard, former Rockwall Mayor; Mary Frances Burleson, President and CEO Ebby Halliday Real Estate, Inc.; and Sylvia Sotelo-Kidd, Ebby Halliday Rockwall Sales Manager.

EWA’s activities include continued education and workshops designed for developing female leadership; roundtable discussions and think-tank style events; and a mentoring program for young professionals and new Chamber partners. Informative luncheons like this one are held every quarter; the next one is planned for November 9th.

The charter membership is comprised of successful women in various industries and designed to create an impactful resource to young women selecting their career paths or women seeking to network with other professionals.

EWA members must hold executive level positions or be a business owner.
