Rockwall woman named Mrs. Texas US Universal

(ROCKWALL, TX – Oct. 6, 2016)  Kimberly Bader of Rockwall was recently named Mrs. Texas US Universal 2017.

Bader, husband John, an employee of the Rockwall Police Department, and their teenage son, moved to Rockwall from Austin in 2015. Bader is a marketing and graphic design professional, as well as an actress appearing in nearly two dozen television shows, commercials and movies, and is publishing a cookbook centered on her family history.

Bader will be sharing her volunteerism platform at the Mrs. US Universal pageant in Reno, Nevada in June 2017. Contestants will be judged in four categories: interview, fitness, evening gown and onstage question. When asked about her platform, Bader stated, “Choosing volunteerism as my platform sounds obvious for a titleholder doesn’t it? ‘One for One’ is choosing to give up one hour of television for one hour of volunteering every week. We can all name our favorite show celebrities, but are we more caught up in their fake lives than we are with the lives we could touch by giving our time? There are so many volunteer opportunities and ways to get involved, that just one hour a week can make a difference.”

Bader is available for appearances and events, and is actively seeking business sponsors and donors. Follow her road to Reno through her official Facebook page: www.facebook.com/mrstxusuniversal2017
