Justice Court Judge Nancy Beaty earns ‘Distinguished Member’ honor

(ROCKWALL, TX – Nov. 9, 2016) The Honorable Judge Nancy Beaty, Justice of the Peace, Precinct Two of Rockwall County was recently inducted as a “Distinguished Member” into Texas Justice Court Judges Association (JCJA) College of Justice Court Judges. Judge Beaty, who was elected January 1, 2011, was one of only 34 justice court judges throughout the state to receive the “Distinguished Distinction” from the College. Judge Beaty completed 50 hours accredited education above her mandatory requirement.

This was Judge Beaty’s fifth year to be inducted into the Texas Justice Court Judges Association College of Justice Court Judges.

The College encourages and recognizes judges who strive for advances in education over and above the state mandated education requirements.

A total of 54 judges in the state, who made application, completed the minimum requirements for the 2016 College.

Those judges who were inducted into the College of Justice Court Judges were congratulated and recognized for taking the initiative to acquire advanced study to enhance their judicial skills.
