(ROWLETT, TX – June 14, 2017) Baylor Scott & White Wound Care Center – Rowlett, a department of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe, has received the Center of Distinction Award and the Robert A. Warriner III, M.D., Center of Excellence award from Healogics, a provider of advanced wound care services.

To be eligible to receive these awards, a center had to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes for twelve consecutive months, including patient satisfaction higher than 92 percent, and a minimum wound healing rate of at least 91 percent within 30 median days to heal.

The award is named for Dr. Robert A. Warriner III, a pioneer in wound care and the former chief medical officer for Healogics. To be eligible for this honor, a center must receive a Center of Distinction award, recognizing one year of top clinical performance, for two or more consecutive years.

“We are pleased to receive both the Center of Distinction and Center of Excellence Awards as every member of our team at the Baylor Scott & White Wound Care Center – Rowlett seeks to fill the needs of our patients with the greatest care, providing peace of mind to each and every patient,” said Dr. Rebecca Jankowski, medical director at Baylor Scott & White Wound Care Center – Rowlett. “We are committed to excellence and strive to provide top-of-the-line health care to all our patients.”
