Royse City Middle School welcomes new assistant principal

(ROYSE CITY, TX — July 18, 2017) The Royse City Independent School District is pleased to announce Cathleen Petroff as new assistant principal for Royse City Middle School.

Mrs. Petroff’s educational experience includes technology applications, instructional technologist, testing & intervention coordinator and most recently as a middle school assistant principal in neighboring Rockwall ISD. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University and a master’s degree from Texas A&M University Commerce.

“Royse City Middle School is fortunate to have Mrs. Petroff join our staff family. She is a proven educator and we look forward to 2017-18 with her on board,” said Principal Jere Craighead.

Mrs. Petroff will transition into her new role at RCMS over the summer and replaces Brooke McMaster who is joining Royse City High School next year as assistant principal.
