Meet Skippy, Blue Ribbon News Pet of the Week

(ROCKWALL, TX – Sept. 13, 2017) I am Skippy. I’m a Chihuahua mix weighing in at a whopping 5 pounds. I am approximately 10 years old and I love life and people. It’s not that I don’t like other dogs and cats; I just don’t want to play with them anymore. I’m also not keen on being picked up – especially by children. I’m ok with a responsible adult.

My favorite things are giving kisses, sitting by you while you watch TV, warm hugs, going for short walks, sleeping at night in my own doggie bed and treats. I am pretty good with going potty outside but if you are going to leave me for a long period of time, you should put down a potty pad and leave me in a confined area.

Unfortunately, I have a bad cataract in my one eye but I see fine with my other. I’ve also been diagnosed with cancer. They are not sure how long I have but I can tell you right now – I feel great, I’m eating great and I’m happy!

Please don’t let these things keep you from giving me a loving home. I promise you won’t regret letting me into your life.

Skippy is up to date on his shots, HW- and on preventative and neutered and had a dental exam. His adoption fee is a donation of $75. Email for more info or to meet him!
