Meet Tova, Blue Ribbon News Pet of the Week

(ROCKWALL, TX – Sept. 4, 2017) This is Tova.  She is about two years old and about nine and a half pounds of cuteness. She absolutely loves to cuddle and is kennel trained. She came pee pad trained, but will also go outside.

Tova bonds quickly to her people and will follow you everywhere. Kids make her happy because they give her lots of attention, and she soaks it up. She is fine around other dogs once she gets used to them, and eats politely in the same space as the other dogs in her foster home.

Tova is a very special girl who had a rough start in life. At some point, she had a several injuries to her back right leg and a fractured pelvis. After some cage rest, the vets decided that she was better off without her back leg since it didn’t work and was causing her pain. On Aug. 9, Tova had her back leg amputated.  She recovered remarkably well and never skipped a beat.

She has been fully vaccinated, is heartworm negative, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption donation is $150.

Tova is looking for a family who will love and care for her forever. To learn more, contact Rockwall Pets at .
