(ROCKWALL, TX — September 25, 2017) Rockwall County Judge David Sweet presented a certificate of achievement to Rockwall County Sheriff’s Deputy Steven Saric during the Sept. 14 meeting of Rockwall County Commissioners Court. Saric is a former Rockwall County detention officer. He is the first non-certified sheriff’s office employee to participate in a special program that led to his successful completion of the police academy and certification as a peace officer.
