John Beaman announces candidacy for Heath city council Place 5

(HEATH, TX — November 29, 2017) John Beaman has announced his candidacy for Heath city council Place 5. Beaman has an interest in politics as well as public service and hopes to dedicate his time and efforts to the City of Heath as it continues to grow.

“There are many things that make Heath a unique community and some of the key components include its rural charm, its first class housing, and its safety,” Beaman said. “These key features differentiate Heath from other communities in North Texas and if our community is to thrive, we must make the right decision at the right time every time.”

Beaman moved from Wisconsin to Heath in 2011 and works as senior analyst with the family business, Beaman Capital Group. As senior analyst, he played an integral role in starting, building, and selling one of the company’s holdings and currently conducts research for potential investment opportunities. In addition to his work, Beaman completed his undergraduate studies with a 4.0 GPA from Liberty University where he majored in Business Administration: Economics and minored in Public Administration. Additionally, Beaman will complete Liberty University’s Master of Business Administration: Leadership program in May of 2018 and he currently holds a GPA of 3.97.

Beaman also enjoys giving back to his community, as he assisted the City of Heath staff during the comprehensive plan update process from October of 2015 to July of 2016, at which point he was appointed to the Board of Adjustment, where he continues to serve. In addition, Beaman serves as a precinct chair for the Rockwall County Republican Party and also serves as the GOP’s GOTV chair. Finally, Beaman is also a member of Leadership Rockwall Class of 2018 and looks forward to completing the program with his friends and classmates as they all give back to the community.
