(ROCKWALL, TX — January 18, 2018) During its Jan. 18 meeting, the Rockwall Noon Rotary Club inducted Rockwall Chamber President Tom Manskey as a member and awarded its Rotary Student of Honor from Dorothy Smith Pullen Elementary School.

Pullen Elementary 6th grade student Grace Stilley was recognized by her school principal Michael Stuart and her homeroom teacher Jackie Oxford as being a positive role model around campus and a leader in the classroom who never backs down from a challenge.

“Grace is a quiet leader who always does what’s right, even when it’s hard. She perseveres and exhibits grit when faced with a challenge, and I just think she is one of the top students in Rockwall ISD, and it’s an honor to have her,” Oxford said.

Rotarian Larry Parks led the induction ceremony welcoming back Tom Manskey as a member of the Rotary. Manskey was a former member of the Rotary when he served for six years as Executive Director of the Rockwall Chamber from 1991-1997. Parks also announced that Manskey has accepted the co-chairmanship for the Hot Rocks Bike Ride 2018, the Rotary’s biggest annual fundraiser which benefits Rotary college scholarships for local graduating high school seniors.
