When We Pray In Jesus’ Name

(ROCKWALL, TX — March 12, 2018) Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Ephesians 3:20-21 (KJV)

I wish I could see what happens spiritually, in the heavenly
realm, when we as His children pray, in Jesus’ name.
I imagine the angels of splendor and glory heralding the coming
prayers of a heavenly heir by singing jubilant songs of welcoming.
Cherubim and seraphim stop the heavenly rush
as quietness stills the throne room of the King—
a holy hush when His children share through prayer
their joy, dreams, loneliness, sin, despair, needs,
or tears of pain. Each tear, a prayer to the Father,
a plea for action. And His answer I hear so loud and clear.
“I am Alpha and Omega. I am Wonderful, Counselor,
the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. You are the apple of my eye.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper
You and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future.
I love you. I care. I  am the voice of hope not the darkened voice
of condemnation, discouragement, or despair.”

Then must come a Heavenly, God-sent love order,
sent thru morning, afternoon, or midnight air
to come to the rescue of  His child.
I imagine heavenly rushed love orders
are sent to angelic legions and battalions so that
they may ready themselves for a rescue mission,
for there is a child of  the King in prayer.
Then comes the sending of  answers,
divine yesses, divine noes, divine “wait”s—
yesses as important as noes, noes as important as yesses.
“Wait “s designed to grow us up in Him. All prayers heard.

All answers sent perfectly timed and orchestrated,
in accordance with His divine will. I am in wonder as
I try to imagine what happens in the spiritual realm
when we as His children pray in Jesus’ name.
