Bubbles & Bags: BINGO players open hearts, wallets for victims of child abuse

Rockwall County first responders entertained the crowd and collected tips, benefiting CAC. Detective Phillip Young was crowned King of BINGO.

(ROCKWALL, TX – Sept. 14, 2018) A sold-out crowd packed The Pearl in Royse City Sept. 13 for a wildly successful Bubbles & Bags BINGO event benefiting the Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County.

Designer purses, including a prized Louis Vuitton handbag, were modeled by Rockwall County first responders who opened the evening with a comedic, choreographed dance routine. (WATCH below!)

CAC is an interagency, multi-disciplinary partnership dedicated to providing intervention, hope, and healing for victims of abuse.  CAC works collaboratively with law enforcement, the Department of Family and Protective Services, the District Attorney’s office, the REACH clinic, and the Rockwall County Sexual Assault Response Team to strengthen the investigation of child abuse case in Rockwall County.

“On behalf of the children and families we serve I am thankful for the support of our community and the incredible turnout! Funds raised will help our ability to instill hope and engage even more children and families in a journey of healing,” said Patricia Mejia, President and CEO of the Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County.
