Tiger Cub and Bobcat Rescued by In-Sync Exotics

(WYLIE, TX – Nov. 3, 2018) In-Sync Exotics has rescued two exotic felines this week. The two exotic cats were unwanted by their former caretakers, so the sanctuary came to the rescue.

Sola, a female bobcat, was surrendered by a private owner earlier this week.

Sola is approximately 3.5 years old. She is a wild-born bobcat, and was taken from the wild and passed around a group of friends for the first six months of her life. For the past three years she has lived with one man, but he can no longer care for her.

She is in excellent physical shape but she needs to be updated on her vaccinations. She will be in mandatory quarantine in In-Sync’s on-site veterinary clinic for 30 days.

Anakin – A five month-old male tiger cub was rescued by In-Sync Exotics yesterday. His origins are uncertain, but he has been at a facility in Amarillo for the past two months. The facility does not have time for him, so In-Sync stepped in to provide the cub a forever home. He is in strict quarantine for 30 days has he has had no vaccinations. While in quarantine he will receive his vaccinations and any additional medical care required. The cub is very rowdy, so it will require a lot of work to get him accustomed to people.

The goal is to be able to introduce Anakin in with the two other tiger cubs at the sanctuary, Kylo Ren and Kenobi. The Star Wars names were chosen purposely by In-Sync Exotics founder, Vicky Keahey who is, as you might suspect, a big Star Wars fan. Though the choice in names may at first seem odd, the message is that light always exists, even in the darkness.
