The City of McLendon-Chisholm will host a tree lighting ceremony

Christmas cheer and hot chocolate.

Polar Express

Woodcreek Fate HOA will welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus. Take a ride 
on the Polar Express train, enjoy a bussed tour of holiday lights, hot 
refreshments and crafts, 6 to 9 p.m., 100 Woodcreek Blvd. in Fate.

Join Rest Haven Memorial Park in 
Rockwall as they join with the Lakeshore 
Civil Air Patrol to host the annual 
Wreaths Across America Day at 11 a.m. 
at Rest Haven, placing wreaths on 
veterans’ graves.

Race day registration and packet pickup 2:30 to 3:45 p.m.; pre-race 
warm-up with Fit Body Boot Camp at 3:45; 5K start at 4 ; awards at 5,

Living Nativity

First Christian Church Rockwall, 3375 
Ridge Road, will re-enact the Christmas 
nativity story for the public with a 
costumed cast of all ages performing 

every 20-30 minutes from 6 to 8 p.m., followed by caroling led by the 
church choir. Children will also be able to pet sheep, goats, a donkey 
and a llama. Guests may also enjoy cookies and hot chocolate while 
viewing a collection of nativity scenes inside the church.

Ugly T-shirt Zumba Party

Get a great workout in before the holidays. Wear your best ugly 
Christmas t-shirt as you sculpt your body with simple Latin dance 
steps and interval training for a rhythmic workout, 3 to 5 p.m. at 
The Center. $10/pre-register; $15/at the door.      

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21

Santa’s North Pole Workshop

Bring your holiday cheer and a bag of candy to decorate your own 
gingerbread house, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Center. Craft reindeer food 
to guide Santa’s sleigh to your house and garnish Christmas-themed 
cookies for Santa. Hot chocolate will be served along with a Christmas 
movie. For kids 2-12. $30/person or $20/discounted resident fee.

Community Bible Study, a worldwide organization offering studies 
of over 26 books of the Bible, is hosting a women’s class in Rockwall

9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. each Thursday for prayer, fellowship, and study.

The 2nd Annual 12 Artisans of Christmas featuring several talented

from 6 to 8. Silent auction Dec. 10-Jan. 7.

Faith and Grief Ministries, Inc. will hold a group workshop at First 
Presbyterian Church of Rockwall, 602 White Hills Drive, from 10:30

Daddy’s little girl will feel like a princess at this magical evening of
