Royse City LegionFest 2018

On April 7th the Royse City American Legion Post will be hosting a kids carnival/festival to celebrate April as the American Legion Children & Youth month. There will be Games, Vendors, Food Vendors, Music and Bounce Houses. We will have fun interactive demonstrations and much more.

For the kids there will be a $5 wristband that will give them access to all of the games and bounce houses. Vendor booth’s is $30 for a 15X20 booth. Game sponsors who provide a game or demonstration will have their vendor fee waived. Event Sponsors are needed with sponsorship levels beginning at just $100 there is a level for every business.

The American Legion is a 501C Non-Profit whose mission is to serve and assist Veterans, support youth and to support the community.  All proceeds from the event will go to supporting the Royse City American Legion youth programs which include scholarships, Boy’s and Girl’s State and more. Rowlett Main Street Festival: The North Pole

The City of Rowlett Parks and Recreation Department and the Rowlett Noon Exchange Club invite everyone to the FREE Main Street Festival: The North Pole on Thursday, December 8 in Pecan Grove Park, 5300 Main Street.

There will be music from carolers as well as the Lakeshore Symphonic Winds and a host of exciting activities that include photos with Santa, children’s activities, desert trucks, a spectacular light trail, and, for the first time… the trail of trees. Do not forget this year will feature a special surprise that you’ll only get to see if you stop by and witness the fun for yourself.

Free admission and parking. The Holiday Parade will go down Main Street towards Rowlett High School and conclude by going through the high school parking lot. The choir performances, live music, and entertainment will occur at Pecan Grove Park, behind the Rowlett Community Centre located at 5300 Main Street. Parking will be available in the Rowlett High School Parking lot for the event.

Handicap accessible parking will be located in the Rowlett Community Centre parking lot located at 5300 Main Street.

Annual Misteltoe & Holly Bazaar and Festival

First Christian Church Rockwall invites all for some Christmas holiday excitement in October during its Annual Misteltoe and Holly Bazaar and Festival on Saturday, Oct. 15. The event will run from 9 am to 4 pm and feature tons of fun for the whole family including:

  • Lots of unique holiday merchandise from local vendors

FUMC-Heath Fall Festival

FUMC Heath Fall FestivalFirst United Methodist Church of Heath will host a Fall Festival on Saturday, October 31, featuring a Kountry Kitchen with jams, jellies, pickles, salsas, baked goods & crafts – plus a plant sale & silent auction.

The Festival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. includes Trunk or Treat, a bounce house, hay rides, maze, face painting, games – plus hot dogs & a chili cook-off.
