Leo’s Club hosts Pumpkin Patch fundraiser

(Rowlett) The Rowlett Leo’s club, a youth service group run by kids ages 12-17, is hosting a  Pumpkin Patch fundraiser at the corner of Highway 66 and Main St. across from Wal-Mart in Rowlett. The Patch will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Fridays; and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The Patch will also be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Halloween, Monday, Oct. 31.

The Leo’s Club is an extension of the Rowlett Lion’s Club and serves the Rowlett Community by raising money, volunteering time and participating in programs that benefit children in need. The Leo’s Club’s current service project is to raise money for the Holiday Food Basket Program and to greet returning soldiers at DFW airport and presenting them with gift bags.
