Part-time seasonal job opportunities are available at the Dallas Arboretum,8525 Garland Road in Dallas. Come to the job fair from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Aug. 30 at Rosine Hall for an on-the-spot interview.
Individuals are need to help during the Arboretum’s fall festival, Saturday, Sept. 17 through Nov. 23, for the following positions:
Crossing Guard
Pays $9/hour
Directs traffic in the parking lot. Must be able to stand for extended hours.
Ticket Sales/Data Entry
Pays $9.50/hour
Sell tickets and process membership info. Prior cash handling preferred, good data entry skills. Must be able to sit for extended periods and process sales quickly.
Pumpkin Village Attendant
Pays $9/hour
Monitors and maintains pumpkin display, waters plants, interacts with the public. Must be able to stand/bend/lift pumpkins and communicate with guests.
Criminal background checks (and credit checks for cash handling position) will be conducted.
