[Dallas Business Journal] (Plano) Former Dallas Cowboys player and Fox television football analyst Daryl “Moose” Johnston is planning to open a new deli concept in Plano.
Johnston is a co-owner of Smiling Moose Deli, with Ronnie Davis, owner of Playmaker Marketing and a 20-year sports executive with the Cowboys, Mavericks, Rangers and Stars.
The Colorado-based deli franchise will open at Hebron Parkway and Park Boulevard in west Plano on Thursday, Sept. 15. The company is planning further franchise expansion in Texas, officials said.
No further details were immediately available on the company’s expansion.
