New 4-H Club offers horse safety, education clinic

(Royse City) The new Gold Buckle 4-H Club, in association with the Bar S Arena, will present a Horse Safety & Education Clinic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22.
 
The clinic is designed for those who want to get acquainted with and/or learn to handle a horse, own a horse, or simply improve their skills. All ages are welcome to participate.
 
 
Clinic schedule
  
9 a.m. to noon  Safely approaching and catching, grooming and handling a horse.
Noon to 1 p.m.  Lunch – concession proceeds to Gold Buckle 4-H Club.
1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Saddling/bridling, mounting and safe riding techniques.
 
The fee for each session is $5 per person to Gold Buckle 4-H Club. A limited number of horses will be accepted in each session for owner hands-on help – $25 each.
