Oliver’s Fine Foods opened its neighborhood market concept in Sundance Square Nov. 5 with a 6,600 square foot store at 415 Throckmorton at 4th Street in downtown Fort Worth.

Oliver’s Fine Foods features an extensive list of meats including sausages, poultry, beef, lamb, veal, venison, shellfish, and fish.

The gourmet foods store will also offer prepared signature dishes to go on a daily basis with a section for quick purchases such as spreads, salads, dressings, soups, cut fruit, fresh chips and salsas.

“The opening of a grocery in downtown Fort Worth has long been a goal for Sundance Square,” said Johnny Campbell, president and CEO of Sundance Square. “We are pleased Todd Bush has brought Oliver’s to downtown Fort Worth to serve the people who live, work and visit our city. This is a milestone for our city and fills a great need in the downtown community.”

Oliver’s will be open Friday and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday – Thursday 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.  Parking is free in Sundance Square during the week with validation or after 5 p.m. Monday – Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.

“I am so excited to be opening to the public,” said Todd Bush, chef and owner of Oliver’s Fine Foods. “We have worked hard to bring this concept to downtown Fort Worth and it is very exciting to see it become a reality. We are looking forward to getting to know our customers and providing them with exceptional food and beverage options they will enjoy with friends and family.”

Bush is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America with both an Associate of Arts degree and a Certified Executive Chef’s degree. During his career he has held executive chef positions in privately owned restaurants, hotels, exclusive golf clubs, and corporate dining establishments across the country.

Catering will be available with standard menus and customized menus to accommodate groups of all sizes. The section of premium wines and beers offered is broad and will complement Oliver’s wide selection of foods. Oliver’s Fine Foods opened its first location in Mansfield in 2008.

Located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, historic Sundance Square is a 35-block commercial, residential, entertainment and retail district where people work, live, shop and dine. Sundance Square’s beautiful landscaping, red-brick streets and turn-of-the-century buildings make it a pedestrian’s delight. Named after the famed Sundance Kid, who used the Fort Worth area as a hideout, Sundance Square has been hailed as a monumental achievement in urban redevelopment. Sundance Square is comprised of restaurants, three live theatres, an AMC movie theatre, Bass Performance Hall, two museums, three art galleries, numerous retail shops and boutiques, as well as two upscale residential complexes, and some of Fort Worth’s prime office space.
