Downtown Main Street Gardens will be dog-gone festive Saturday, Dec. 17 as Petropolitan, Downtown Dallas, Inc., and the City of Dallas present the first Petropolitan Santa Paws Parade and Rescue Celebration.
There will be holiday activities for the entire family, especially the four-legged ones – including a pet costume parade with prizes awarded to the Best Pet/Owner Combo, Best and Show and Best Holiday Theme.
More than 20 rescue groups will be on hand, celebrating “Adopt a Rescue Day.”
Animal vaccinations, heartworm testing and micro-chipping will be available for purchase. Pictures can be taken with Santa Paws!
The free, family-friendly event will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Main Street Garden,1902 Main St., Dallas, 75201. The parade begins at 12:45 p.m.
