Blue Ribbon News contest winner enjoys Shenaniganz
Jerry and Jamie Rubush at Shenaniganz

Jamie Jones Rubush, a volunteer ESL teacher in the Reading for Adults program at the Rockwall County Library, was among the Blue Ribbon News fans from across Dallas/Fort Worth who recently entered our promo with Shenaniganz.

By simply “LIKING” our Blue Ribbon News Facebook page, Jamie’s name was entered into our drawing for her choice of one of three fabulous prize packages at Shenaniganz:

  • dinner for four in Rozie’s Grill plus an hour of lounge-style bowling;
  • a children’s birthday party for 8;
  • or four 4-hour unlimited play passes.

(Thanks to Shenaniganz, recently recognized as the Best Bowling-Anchored Entertainment Center in the country, for teaming up with Blue Ribbon News to make this possible!)

And Jamie won!

Randy and Cathie Bishop

Jamie learned that her name was drawn in a Facebook notification and email message, and responded, “Oh my! I never win anything! Thank you very much!”

For Jamie and her husband, Jerry, the lounge-style bowling and dinner deal was the obvious choice. They invited their dear friends, Randy and Cathie Bishop, to join them. Cathie is a co-tutor for the ESL class, and Randy is an amazing local artist.

Cathie takes aim during the complimentary hour of lounge-style bowling at Shenaniganz.

“We had a wonderful dinner at Rozie’s Grill, then walked around the arcade, peeked in at the bumper cars and then bowled in the lounge bowling area. We had a wonderful time at Shenaniganz! Thank you for making the evening possible,” Jamie said.

Randy and Jerry take aim in the arcade.

We thank  Jamie and Jerry, and Cathie and Randy for graciously sharing their photos with us and Blue Ribbon News readers and Shenani-Fans.
