Frisco Arts Fever gala features disco, casino party

Frisco Arts FeverFrisco Square Development announces the Frisco Arts Fever Fundraising Gala 2012 from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, March 31 at Frisco Discovery Center, 8004 North Dallas Parkway in Frisco. All proceeds benefit the arts in Frisco.

This special fundraising event is a 1970’s style disco and casino night called Frisco Arts Fever. Tickets cost $100 each with free valet parking for all guests. All members of Frisco Arts are eligible for a 20% discount.

Admission includes food, beer, wine, and a signature drink by Margaux’s Bridge Bistro – plus casino starter chips for Poker, Craps, and Black Jack tables (exchangeable for a raffle ticket), costume and dance contest, live music and comedy in Studio 8004 Lounge, complimentary photograph by Silver Star Pictures, and a take-home gift.

Additional raffle tickets and a cash bar with mixed drinks are also available.

The Frisco Discovery Center is managed by Frisco Association for the Arts, a non-profit organization supporting and promoting the arts in Frisco.

Arts in the Square

Frisco’s third annual Arts in the Square also begins Saturday, March 31. The juried Fine Arts festival features the best national and regional artists selling their original creations. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is co-presented and hosted by Frisco Square Development and Frisco Arts, the Official Art Agency of Frisco, that is designated to enrich the Frisco community by supporting the awareness, presence and practice of the visual, musical, and performing arts.
