(Dallas/Dec. 29, 2011) DiagnosTemps, specializing in the placement of interim radiology professionals to healthcare facilities across the United States, was recently invited to participate in the True Blue Business Recognition Series, a program that publicly recognizes exceptional companies and business owners in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that are “doing business right.”

Scott Sams, morning show host at KRLD NewsRadio 1080 and former news anchor at CBS 11 and WFAA-TV Channel 8, interviewed Matthew Broderick, President, to gain insight into the people, practices and core beliefs that make DiagnosTemps a True Blue Business. A portion of the interview will air on KRLD. The full conversation and video will be featured at BlueRibbonNews.com, DFW’s online community news source that highlights good news and events from area neighborhoods, churches, schools, businesses, clubs and organizations.

In addition, DiagnosTemps was profiled in print in the True Blue Business special supplement to The Wall Street Journal.

Companies identified as True Blue Businesses deliver quality goods and services while demonstrating a strong commitment to their customers, employees, and the community. They act with honesty and integrity, are “true blue” and loyal to the people they serve, and often go the extra mile. In short, they are the companies that Dallas-Fort Worth can count on.

True Blue Businesses are approved based on information obtained through comprehensive interviews and research. The evaluation process involves input from principals, officers, management, employees, and customers to determine a company’s ability to consistently demonstrate the following:

  • honesty and integrity in day-to-day dealings with customers, in the management of employees, in interactions with the community;
  • responsiveness in resolving customer complaints, handling employee matters, and adapting to changing market conditions;
  • and goodwill toward customers, employees, and the community.

Founded in 1993, DiagnosTemps has grown to become the largest provider of temporary radiology professionals in theDallas-Fort Wortharea. They provide interim radiology professionals to hospitals, physician offices, surgery centers and imaging centers across the country, enabling healthcare facilities to operate efficiently during times when they would otherwise be short-staffed.

With diagnostic radiology as their only focus, DiagnosTemps offers expertise and responsiveness that other “allied staffing” companies cannot. They provide technologists for Xrays, MRIs, CTs, mammography, ultrasound, echocardiography, and interventional radiography – 24/7, 365 days a year.

DiagnosTemps was named a True Blue Business based upon its record of putting patients first, treating employees like family, and delivering high quality, cost-effective healthcare services.

“It’s a tremendous honor to be recognized as a True Blue Business,” said Broderick. “When I bought the company back in 1999, my goal was to run it the way I wanted to run it – which was to be honest, have integrity, and treat our employees the way they need to be treated. And first and foremost, I wanted to provide great customer service. To have this True Blue recognition helps validate what we’ve been trying to do all along.”

In 2010, DiagnosTemps was named one of the Top 100 Places to Work by the Dallas Morning News.

“Our employees – they make or break us,” Broderick explained. “After all, that is what we do – we are a provider of people. So we treat our employees like they are family. We help them with their continuing education requirements; we offer a full range of benefits. We try to go above and beyond for our radiologic technologists. One week out of the year, there’s a week to honor them. This year we gave them a prepaid debit card to go out and do whatever they wanted to do. And they loved it.”

DiagnosTemps also has a history of giving back to the community. In 2009, for example, the company participated in an AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm) screening program at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth. Hundreds of people were able to take advantage of the free screening event, for which DiagnosTemps provided Sonographers.

“Giving back to the community is important to us. Our employees are vitally important, too; they are family,” Broderick said. “As for our clients, they know that in their time of need, they can depend on us. A lot of what we do is on very short notice, and we are able to get good people there quickly to keep them up and running. With DiagnosTemps, healthcare facilities can continue to operate and provide the level of healthcare that they are used to providing.”

DiagnosTemps is located at 5050 Quorum Drive, Suite 700, Dallas, 75254.
